LAND DEVELOPMENT
MINISTRY DEVELOPMENT CENTRE
The Ministry Development Centre is to be a facility where local pastors, church leaders, seminary groups, short term teams and others can come to experience the presence of God, be trained and be refreshed.
This facility will be used for biblical training, conferences, seminars and retreats for evangelical denominations across the island of Hispaniola.
PHASE 1
Infrastructure and Team Housing A
To facilitate our growing ministry and vision to equip and empower pastors and leaders across the Dominican Republic and Haiti, we have prayerfully set in motion plans and timelines for the construction of our MINISTRY DEVELOPMENT CENTRE. Construction of the MDC, scheduled to begin Fall 2019, will happen on a 27-acre piece of property just outside of Nagua, on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic.

- 5 Dormitories for capacity up to 180 people
- 1 Multi-use building for meetings up to 250 people

PHASE 2/3
Conference and Training Centre
The next two phases envision a sports and recreational facility expansion to Phase 1 for sports ministries and a 2000-person conference centre, offices, and classroom facilities for EDMC’s larger seminars, administration tasks, and Bible Seminary (SETCAR). This conference facility, of which there is no other in the entire region, will also serve the pastors and different denominations of the North-East region of the DR, for their training events and conferences. This building will facilitate the core equipping ministries of EDMC, namely teaching and equipping pastors and leaders to reach the lost for Christ, through conferences, workshops, and bible seminary training. These final phases will finish our sustainable international equipping hub, co-administrated and run by national and international leadership.
Sustainable Agriculture Development Project
AGRICULTURE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
As a ministry we seek to be good stewards of all God has blessed us with, whether donations, land, buildings, or vehicles. Through our passion fruit farm (which has already begun), and coconut plot (which is already producing), we seek to create income to help with monthly ministry operational costs on the ground in the Dominican Republic and consequently freeing up funds to be used for equipping local leadership and communities.
In April 2017 we broke ground on 3.5 acres of land to prepare the land for passion fruit vines.

The land is already producing profit from coconut harvests which helps cover some of our operating costs.

In approximately 2012, EDMC was presented an incredible offer: the purchase of 27 acres of prime land just outside the city of Nagua! Through a series of miracles, God provided the funds and favour with the former owners, and we are now blessed to be owners of this property, which will soon become the hub of all national and international operations for EDMC. Over the next 8-10 years, this land will be TRANSFORMED, from an area of pastureland and fruit trees, to our MINISTRY DEVELOPMENT CENTRE and AGRICULTURE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT.
