The Ministry

   THE MINISTRY

MISSION

Every Day Ministries Canada partners with local evangelical pastors and leaders on the north east coast of the Dominican Republic to equip, empower, and encourage them, their families, churches, and communities through leadership development, community development and land development so they can more effectively preach the Gospel and make disciples.

VISION

Equipping, Empowering and Encouraging local pastors and churches to preach the Gospel and make disciples.

HISTORY

Every Day Ministries Canada is a non-profit Christian missionary organization that was founded in 2006. The birth of EDMC came about when God clearly planted in the hearts' of the Thomas family a deep passion and burden for the people of the Dominican Republic. Through prayer and fasting, God revealed a clear vision to start a new work along the North Coast of the DR that includes the

cities of Gaspar Hernandez, Río San Juan, Cabrera, Payita and

Nagua. Within this area are hundreds of churches and yet thousands

of people who are unreached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Many people in these cities have desperate physical, emotional,

social and spiritual needs which are often too complex for the

churches in these areas.

Our goal is to assist the existing churches, and their pastors, in

whatever way possible to preach the Gospel and make disciples.

We believe God has called us to stand in the gap on behalf of the people in these areas and, with God’s help, and in partnership with the local churches, bring about positive physical changes as well as eternal spiritual changes.

Ryan, born in the Toronto area, and Heather born in Yarmouth, NS, both felt God's call to missions in their early twenties. Ryan graduated from the University of Toronto and in 2007, after a few years of work, moved to the Dominican Republic to join Every Day Ministries Canada. In December 2010, Ryan became a Global Worker with the PAOC. Heather graduated from Master's College & Seminary in Peterborough, ON and subsequently worked at the college for 7 years. She helped organize student mission trips to the DR with EDMC, which was where Ryan and Heather met. They were married in October of 2012 and returned to the field together as PAOC Global Workers in December of 2012 where they have been serving as full-time missionaries with Every Day
Ministries Canada since. They have two energetic children, Liberty and Eddison.

    THE LIPINSKI FAMILY

Trent and Rhonda have now (as of August 2019)  joined the EDMC Team in the Dominican Republic to
