Many families in the Dominican Republic face significant personal and social challenges (poverty, unemployment, low education, abuses, stress, lack of resources, lack of opportunities, etc.). These challenges have direct and significant impacts on children’s physical, mental and emotional development. These children eventually become parents and adult members of their communities and will most likely face the same issues their parents faced. This is a cycle that will continue to impact children, families and communities unless the cycle is broken.
 

We believe that by helping families with the repetitive challenges they face, we can help them raise healthy children who will become healthy adults and, in turn, healthy parents and members of society. This is a cycle worth repeating.

We know that these cycles can be broken and transformation can take place by the power of the Gospel, through teachings based on God's Word and biblical principles.
